01What is covered

We warrant that Barbaro Racing brake pads bought from this store are free from defects in materials and manufacture for 12 months from the date of delivery.

Examples of defects we cover:

• Friction material separating from the backing plate.
• Friction material cracking or breaking up in normal use within the compound's published temperature range.
• Pads that do not match the published drawing for the part number.
• Shims, clips or wear sensors supplied with the set that are faulty.

02Track and competition use

Track days, racing and other competition put loads on a brake system that we cannot see or control. For pads used on track or in competition, the warranty covers defects present on delivery and bonding failure between the friction material and the backing plate. It does not cover wear rate, glazing, or heat damage.

03What is not covered

• Normal wear of the friction material.
• Damage caused by incorrect fitting, by skipping the bedding-in procedure, or by fitting pads to a car they are not listed for.
• Use above the compound's published maximum temperature.
• Pads contaminated with oil, grease or brake fluid.
• Faults caused by worn, damaged or out-of-specification rotors, or by seized or faulty calipers and other brake parts.
• Noise, dust or pedal feel that is normal for the chosen compound, as described on its product page.
• Pads that have been modified, for example cut, ground or chamfered.
• Accident damage.

04How to make a claim

1. Email info@barbaro-racing.com within the warranty period. Include your order number, the car (make, model and year), the distance driven on the pads, a description of the fault, and clear photos of both pads and both rotors on that axle.
2. We will reply with next steps. We may ask you to send the pads to us for inspection.
3. If we accept the claim, we will replace the pads. If a replacement is not available, we will refund the price you paid for them.

You pay the costs of making a claim, such as postage to send pads to us. If we accept the claim, we pay to send the replacement to you and reimburse reasonable postage you paid to send the faulty pads to us.

05Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to the goods. Customers outside Australia also keep the rights given by the consumer laws of their own country.
